Shipping & Handling

 



SASSENACH SCENTS ships globally. Upon checking out, and entry of your delivery address, your shipping costs will be automatically calculated for review before you submit your payment. They are determined by the weight of your order and your country of delivery.

If your delivery country is outside of the UK/European region, you will be expected to pay customs duties/taxes/fees upon entry of your shipment to your country, and you will be contacted by the courier service to pay the fees ahead of your delivery. If the fees are not paid by the recipient (customer), your delivery will be returned to us for non-payment. Sassenach Scents is not responsible for these fees or taxes, and they are not included in your shipping costs, therefore, any returned shipments for non-payment of said fees, lies solely in the responsibility of the customer. Additional shipping charges / fees will be imposed if your shipment is returned to us for lack of payment towards customs fees and needs to be re-shipped. If you choose to not have your order re-shipped once it is returned to us,  your order is non-refundable.


If your purchase is made via your credit card, orders will be dispatched once your payment clears the bank. Depending upon your bank and country, this could take anywhere from 5 to 15 business days.

If your purchase is made via the PayPal option, your funds are cleared instantly.

Once payment clears, orders will be dispatched upon completion of your order.

Orders are handmade and therefore require 3 to 5 working days to create.
Your orders will NOT ship until the 3 to 5 working days have passed.

To reduce and offset our carbon footprint, shipments for all orders placed are shipped one day per week - Either on Thursdays or Fridays (dependant upon how many orders are shipping).
